Refund Policy

At ArtChineseDesign (ACD), we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade cultural products. Due to the nature of these items, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and the artisans who create them. Please review the following terms carefully.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Non-Customized Products: We accept refund requests within 30 days of delivery for non-customized, unused items in their original packaging (e.g., standard Suzhou embroidery scarves, cloisonné accessories).

Customized/Personalized Products: All customized items (e.g., embroidered initials, tailored qipaos, bespoke orders) are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged once production has begun.

2. How to Initiate a Refund

Contact our support team at artchinesedesign@outlook.com with your order number and reason for return.

If eligible, we will provide instructions for returning the item. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective or damaged.

3. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 3-5 business days.

4. Exceptions & Non-Refundable Items

Handmade variations (e.g., slight color/texture differences in silk or embroidery) are inherent to artisan work and do not qualify for refunds.

Items damaged due to customer misuse or without original packaging are not eligible.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, contact us immediately at artchinesedesign@outlook.com with photos/videos of the issue. We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund based on the situation.
