As a Suzhou embroidery artist, I wanted to create something that blends traditional craftsmanship with universal joy. The panda, adored worldwide for its playful charm, felt like the perfect subject. This fan is my way of sharing a piece of lighthearted cultural beauty.​​

Each fan is embroidered using our double-sided technique—a challenging process where the panda’s fluffy fur and playful expression are stitched identically on both sides of the silk. No loose threads or knots are visible, just clean, vibrant artistry. The bamboo handle is polished smooth for a comfortable grip.​​
3. The Meaning
​​In Chinese culture, pandas symbolize peace and good fortune. But beyond tradition, they bring a smile to anyone who sees them. I chose this design to carry that warmth—a little reminder to find joy in simple, gentle moments.​​
