​​The magic happens in the details. Each flower petal uses up to eight shades of silk thread to create a natural gradient effect. Since it's double-sided, I have to stitch carefully so both sides look identical—no loose threads or knots. It's tricky work, but it's what makes the flowers look alive from every angle.​​

History of the Craft

Suzhou embroidery, known asSu Xiu, has a history of over two thousand years. It began in ancient Suzhou, a city famous for its silk and craftsmanship. Over time, Su embroidery became one of China’s four major embroidery styles, known for its delicate stitches, smooth silk threads, and lifelike images. Each piece reflects the patience and elegance of Suzhou culture.
